A new twist has emerged on the killing of a 29yr-old female Banker working with the First Bank, PLC, Oja-Oba Akure Branch, Nofisat Adetutu Ibrahim at Okeogba area of Akure, the Ondo state capital.

Adetutu was allegedly assassinated on Wednesday’s evening by some gunmen.

A family source told SUNSHINETRUTH that the young lady was actually assassinated on the alleged order of a suspected Bank customer who had been arrested by policemen from Fanibi Police station.

The suspect was said to be a big businesswoman in Akure.

The family source who is an elder sister to Adetutu, explained that the female customer had been threatening the deceased for the past one week over a disagreement on the location of PoS by the bank in Akure.

The source dismissed insinuation that she was killed by armed robbers, insisting that hired assassins took her life.

The policemen had already arrested the Manager of the Bank and the prime suspect but the Manager was released on Thursday’s evening after questioning.

It was gathered that Adetutu’s money was not stolen at her Oke-Ogba POS by the gunmen who shot her to death.

The Police Spokesman in the state, Mr Femi Joseph had on Wednesday confirmed the incident.
