Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (BTO) is the member representing Akoko Northeast and Northwest federal constituency in the House of Representatives in Abuja.

During a courtesy call on him by members of his constituency living in Abuja under the umbrella body of Okeagbe Development Association (ODA), BTO charged them to be closer to the people at home while also facilitating programmes that will go a long way in developing them.

BTO who is also the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), further urged the 16 man team led by the President of the Association, Elder Fadunmila Samuel, to participate actively in politics by moving to the grassroots.

Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo emphasized the need to engage members from his Constituency, Akoko North East and North West Federal Constituency and its mandate areas while highlighting the necessity of creating a need assessment of the people.

“Even if it is a person staying in a town, he deserves the amenities enjoyed by people in the city,” he said.

He reiterated his commitment to adding value to people in his federal constituency and all mandate areas, saying “the biggest asset I have in my life is that I am from Akoko. All I want to do in life is to add value.”

He further encouraged the visitors to “participate more in the politics of our people”.

Mr Fadunmila who was at Okeagbe Akoko recently confirmed the massive infrastructural development facilitated by Hon. Tunji-Ojo.
