Breaking News: JAMB Reverses Stand On ‘No NIN, No Registration’

Policy to now take effect in 2021

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says it is rescinding the decision that only students with the National Identity Number (NiN) will be allowed to register for this year’s examination.

It added that the policy will now take effect from 2021.

With this development, students without the National Identity Number can now register for the 2020 examination.

The board tweeted, “NIN will no longer be a prerequisite for the 2020 UTME and Direct Entry Examination as it has been suspended to 2021 ~@JAMBHQ Registrar”
