The rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile Oluji, Ondo state, Prof. Adedayo Fasakin has congratulated the Muslim community of the institution in the successful completion of this year’s fasting period.

Prof. Fasakin in a statement signed by him and made available to The Precision NG urged the faithfuls to sustain the spiritual life as exemplified during the holy month.

The statement below:

Rector’s Eid-el-Fitri Goodwill Message.
On behalf of the entire Staff and Students of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, I sincerely felicitate with our Muslim brothers and sisters in the Institution and across Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Fitri celebration, which marks the end of the Ramadan fasting.

The self-abnegation displayed during the fasting period has shown that we’re all equal before Allah irrespective of our individual statuses, and it is only Allah that could accede to our supplications when genuinely made.

I, therefore, encourage us to celebrate this festivity in low-key,and to continue to love one another in the spirit of brotherliness and forgiveness so that our prayers will receive Allah’s merciful blessings.

Let us also be mindful to uphold all precautionary measures spelt out by the Government to curtail the spread of Convid-19 pandemic in the Country.

Please stay safe as I warmly wish you all a happy celebration and Barka De Sallah.

Signed:
Professor Emmanuel Adedayo Fasakin, Ffs,Fiica,Fimc.
Rector.
