The Nigeria Senate is back from her annual recess just as the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki played host to the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, MAN on issues bordering on the nation’s economy.

The MAN delegation led by Dr. Frank
Jacobs spoke on the dire need for economic diversification.
The delegation also stressed the need to patronise the
locally produced goods in the country and the unavailability of Gas and Power.
Senate President, Bukola Saraki assured the Manufacturing Sector of the commitment of the 8th Senate, saying their visit is indeed timely with the current economic challenges.
He said the focus as the Senate resume was to debate on the economy and the way out of the current economic challenges.
Mr Saraki added that the Senate will put legislative backing to policies needed to revamp the economy as done with the Railway Bill.
