Saudi Arabia Declares 2016 Hajj A Success

Arabia has announced the success of the 2016 Hajj rites with the departure of pilgrims after performing crucial and major rituals.

Agency reported that the Saudi King and the custodian of the two holy mosques, Salman bin
Abdulaziz Al Saud also congratulated Saudi Crown Prince and Supreme Hajj
Committee, Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the
success of the season in a statement released on Thursday.
Saudi authorities had earlier confirmed that the number of pilgrims for this year’s Hajj exceeded 1.8 million, of which 1.3 are foreigners.
Also, the Saudi health ministry
declared on Wednesday an epidemic-free hajj season, following certain steps,
including the compulsory vaccinations for all pilgrims.
