The Ondo State government has once again reiterated its commitment to prioritize workers welfare just as it commences the payment of another month’s salary.

A statement signed by the Commissioner for Information, Mr Kayode Akinmade said the government shares in the challenges being faced by workers on account of the nation’s economic downturn and the adverse consequence resulting in delayed salary payment across many states of the federation.
The commissioner urged the workers not to listen to rumour mongers and political mischief makers whose stock in trade is to pull down government on the altar of cheap blackmail in order to gain popularity.
“the fact that salary alerts are being sent for the payment of another month’s wage has again put paid to wicked lies being peddled by unscrupulous politicians.” Akinmade said.

“the present government holds workers in very high esteem and will therefore continue to adopt creative approach while working round the clock to ensure that they are not denied their entitlements even as government prepares to go the extra mile to meet their needs notwithstanding the downturn of the nation’s economy.”
The Commissioner noted.
He recalled that in recent past workers were being paid the 13th month salary bonuses as well as timely payment of leave bonuses ahead other states in the federation adding workers should keep faith with the Mimiko’s administration.
According to him the Mimiko’s administration will always be true to the workers knowing full well that public servants in Ondo State are diligent, productive, result oriented and among the best in Nigeria.
