FIBAN President Inaugurates Reconciliation Committee To Resolve Electoral Issues In Ondo, Oyo, Osun | The Precision

President of Freelance and Independent Broadcasters of Nigeria (FIBAN) comrade Desmond Nwachukwu has urged the new  committees setup to into electoral issues in some states of the federation to protect their hard earned  integrity.

 

A statement by the National Publicity Secretary of FIBAN, Bisi Ajiboye and made available to THE PRECISION, noted that in furtherance to the resolution that was reached at the National Working Committee meeting held in Ibadan on the 16th of July 2017, the National President, Comrade Desmond Nwachukwu after due consultation announced the setup of the committee members.
“The three man panel of inquiry on the Osun State election has Comrade Sulaimon Adegbenro as Chairman. Others are: Comrade Funmilola Tanimola (Secretary) and Hon Gbenga Olaniyan (Member). 
“The Committee that will Screen and Conduct Election in Oyo and Ondo States has Alhaji Gbenga Adebayo-Oladunni as Chairman. Others are Comrade Rasaq Amusa (Secretary) and Comrade Abiodun Adeoye (Member). 
“The two committees are expected to conclude their assignments within the stipulated four (4)weeks effective 17th of July, 2017,” the statement read.
The President urged them to discharge their duty with utmost sincerity and total compliance with the provisions of our constitution as well as the electoral guideline where and when necessary.
He encouraged them to adopt the mechanism they deemed most appropriate in the discharge of this onerous assignment.
While reminding them of the need to protect their hard earned integrity, credibility and good name which must be jealously guided, he reiterated that all eyes are on them and that they should justify the confidence reposed in them. 
To all concerned states/members, he pleaded for their support as all that is been done is for the good of all.
