The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Ifedore Chapter of Ondo State, has honoured the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Bamidele Oleyelogun for his exceptional leadership qualities.
At an event organised at the St Peters Anglican Church in Ijare to honour illustrious sons and daughters of the local government, the CAN representative, Revd Akosile described the speaker as a rare breed politician, adding that his desire to combine spiritualism with governance and also providing quality leadership is a key reason for honouring him.
THE PRECISION gathered that the wife of the Speaker, Prophetess Funke Oleyelogun received the award of honour for her husband at the event.
Mrs Oleyelogun appreciated Ifedore CAN for the gesture and promised that her husband will not let them down as she will continuously advice him on how to sustain the quality leadership he has been providing in the course of legislative matters.
She sought their continuous prayers for the administration of the State led by Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to be successful so that all will be well with the people of the state.
