Troops, NDLEA Operatives Raid Suspected Drug Baron House, Recover Arms | The Precision

Troops of Sector 1, Sub Sector 4 of the 82 Division of the Nigerian Army, in conjunction with some operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), on Saturday raided a house belonging to a suspected drug baron, one Maxi Ota Benjamin.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Col. Sagir Musa, Deputy Director, Public Relations, 82 Division disclosed that Benjamin, who is now at large, resides in Amirima Compound, Achara Ihechiowa Community in Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State.
“During the raid, four suspected accomplices to the wanted drug baron were apprehended from the compound,” the statement stated.
According to Col. Musa, items recovered during the operation included one short single barrel gun, one long single barrel gun, one automatic pump action rifle, one locally made double barrel pistol, one  binocular and two mobile phones of Intel and Kismo brands. 
Others were some substances suspected to be Indian hemp, which the spokesman said had been handed over to the NDLEA along with the suspects.
In another development, the provision of free medical services to the people of Nnarambia community, Ahiara Mbaise in Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State was successfully conducted on Saturday by the Army.
In his remarks at the event, His Royal Highness Eze Dr. Pious Onyekwen Nfunala of Ihiara Nnarambia community, thanked the Army for keeping the nation one indivisible entity and for extending the frèe medical services and supplies to his people.
