Ondo: Akeredolu Approves N500m Car Loan For Workers | The Precision

Governor of Ondo state, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has approved the disbursement of five hundred million naira (N500,000,000) as car loan to 800 civil servants and teachers in the state.

 

Akeredolu made the revelation at  the commissioning ceremony of the State Integrated Financial Management Information System (SIFMIS ) primary data and training centre in Akure.
He noted that the loan is an attestation to his administration’s commitment to the welfare of workers in the state.
The governor  maintained that the  SIFMIS project is aimed at improving  revenue generation, allocation utilization and financial reporting of public resources.
He said  this will go a long way to bring total transformation to the state workforce.
He sought the cooperation of workers in moving his government to a greater height by showing more commitment to their duties in the interest of the people.
The State Commissioner for Finance, Wale Akinterinwa stressed that the data training centre has been completed by the state government to enhance job performance for revised organizational structure of the office of the accountant General that will drive new business process through modern framework in the state.
Also speaking, the State Accountant General Laolu Akindolire lauded the governor for the prompt payment of workers salaries despite the shortfall in allocation and assured him of their resolve to remain loyal to his administration.
