President Buhari earlier held a meeting with security chiefs on Friday, January 26 in Abuja. The security chiefs at the meeting briefed the President on activities of their respective agencies.
President
Buhari has come under severe criticism over his handling of Nigeria’s
security. Many have been killed in the northern region and middle belt
region of the country in various attacks as a result of the security
challenge. Buhari in reaction to criticisms has refuted the claim of
sloppiness in his approach, saying he has since given orders for
necessary action to be taken by the security agencies.
