Nigeria’s
Representative for Coerver Coaching, Mr. Yomi Kuku has expressed
satisfaction in the way the Director and Coordinator For Youth
Development in Remo Stars Football Club, Coach Daniel Ogunmodede handles
the activities of his wards.
He
made this known during his visit to see the U17 side of Remo Stars FC
in Iperu, Ogun State during the usual training session at the club’s
training pitch in the early hours of Thursday.
Speaking
with RSFC Media, the Social worker and Development Officer, Kuku says
the visit to the club is based on getting results on methods coaches
were taught during the Coerver Coaching training and Remo Stars FC
happened to be the first point of call.
“The
last coerver coaching we had in Abuja, we partnered the Technical
Department of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)  and the Nationwide
League One (NLO), we had a lot of coaches that turned up and one of them
happened to be Coach Daniel Ogunmodede.”
“We
decided to allow the coaches go back to their various clubs and
academies to practice the methods and see how they were going about the
course they had, so we decided to start visiting the coaches to see how
they are responding to the methods and we decided to visit Remo Stars
first.”
“I am so
impressed and satisfied with what Coach Daniel Ogunmodede is doing and I
think Remo Stars is quite lucky to have somebody like him, he is not a
coach but a teacher and he is best suited for Coerver Coaching.”
“My
advice to others having something like this in mind is for them to have
the right intention, once they have got the good intentions then they
are going to make it happen and I don’t see any reason why they can’t
take advice from people who are doing it well. They can ask Remo Stars
how it is done, if they don’t have the kind of money you have then we
can ask for your template.
“I
travelled from Lagos to Sagamu to see the good works Coach Daniel is
doing and I am quite impressed. I think Remo Stars is quite lucky to
have someone like him, he is not a coach but a tutor and he is best
suited for Coerver Coaching.” Kuku Concluded.

“The
last coerver coaching we had in Abuja, we partnered the technical
department of the Nigeria Football Federation and the Nationwide League
One, we had a lot of coaches that turned up and one of them happened to
be Coach Daniel Ogunmodede.”
“Coach
Ogunmodede was very keen to learn about the Coerver coaching methods
and eventually came up as one of the best students during the training
period.”
“That is the
more reason we decided to visit him and Remo Stars first because like I
said earlier he was one of the best among the rest so I decided to show
some respect to him being our best student instead of taking it round
Lagos State first.”
“Daniel Ogunmodede has also been  tauted as someone who can also be an instructor for Coerver Coaching in Nigeria.”
“I
travelled from Lagos to Sagamu to see the good works Coach Daniel is
doing and I am quite impressed. I think Remo Stars is quite lucky to
have someone like him, he is not a coach but a tutor and he is best
suited for Coerver Coaching.” Kuku Concluded.

training sessions, he feels the players have the mentality and attitude

think Remo Stars U17 have the best players with the best mentality and
the right attitude, the players are young and they have also got the
height and the zeal, it shows the club has it all right to excel in
future.”
“What the club
needs to do is to stay consistently on it plans, if you stay on it I can
tell you in the next five (5) years Remo Stars will rock Nigeria
football, believe me, most especially in youth football. What you are
doing with the template is exceptional. You are allowing players to play
the game and at the same time enjoy it.”
“The
players were making use of their heads, senses and the opportunity
given to them as a young people to play football for pleasure and after
pleasure you move on to the professional side. I saw more of the players
you will start reaping after two to three years.” Kuku concluded.
