I See A Better Future – Akeredolu

Governor of Ondo state, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has said he sees a better future for the state. 

 

The governor, who was speaking during the 10th year anniversary and 7th convocation ceremony of Achievers University, Owo, on Saturday, urged Nigerians to be hopeful, and expressed the confidence that the nation’s economy will rebound to its old glory very soon.
Akeredolu, while lauding the Pro-chancellor of the university, Hon. Bode Ayorinde, for the vision and tenacity he has displayed in founding and developing the university to its present status, advised the graduating students to seize the opportunity availed them by the university to make a better future for themselves.
“For you, the future has started. I implore all of you to seize whatever opportunity that was made available to you by the university to make a great future for yourselves.”
The university also honoured prominent Nigerians with Honorary Degrees. The list of awardees include Emeritus Professor David Adedayo Ijalaye, who was conferred with the degree of Doctor of Law (Honoris Causa).
Others are the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Simon Lalong, who was conferred with the degree of Doctor of Law (Honoris Causa); Hon. Aishat Jibril Dukku, Doctor of Public Administration (Honoris Causa) and William Babatunde Fowler, Doctor of Business Administration (Honoris Causa)
