THE PRECISION recalled that Mr Akeredolu had promised to conduct the local government election in the state when presenting the 2018 budget proposal to the house of assembly. The the budgetary provision has already been approved by the state house of assembly.
The assembly had since dissolved the caretaker chairmen in the 18 council areas, an indication that the election will hold in due course.
