UNIMED Teaching Hospital Gets Acting CMD | The Precision

Governor of Ondo state, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has approved the appointment of Dr Oluwole Olugbenga Ige as the Interim Chief Medical Director of the state owned University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital, Ondo.
A statement issued by the state commissioner for Information and Orientation, Yemi Olowolabi in Akure, the Ondo State Capital, said the appointment takes immediate effect.
Until his appointment, Dr Ige was the Chief Medical Director, Trauma and Surgical Centre, Ondo.
Mr Olowolabi said that the newly appointed Chief Medical Director of UNIMED would coordinate the activities of other constituent health facilities for the take-off of the Teaching Hospital, adding that he will also work with all the relevant Committees, Ministry of Health, Hospital’s Management Board and the University of Medical Sciences,for the smooth take-off of the Teaching Hospital.
The Information and Orientation Commissioner therefore congratulated Dr Oluwole Olugbenga Ige on his appointment and urged him to bring his wealth of experience to the development of the Teaching Hospital for the betterment of the people of the state.
