The Ondo state governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, has recorded an impressive national outing at the national convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held at Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

Akeredolu who was the deputy chairman of the convention commitee, Co – chairing the committee with the Jigawa state governor, Alhaji Abubakar Badaru, has displayed high level of political sagacity in the results of the national convention.
Contrary to the claims that the party was factionalised in the state, Akeredolu was able to lead authentic members of the party in the state to the Abuja convention.
The governor who is also not doing bad in governance of the state has also proven to be a force to reckon with in the politics of the South West as Ondo state  has produced the Vice Chairman of the party in the south west.
The governor has also successfully handled the affairs of the party in the state which has produced Engr. Ade Adetimehin as the state chairman of the party.
Already, all slots allocated to Ondo state were secured by Akeredolu which has further attested to his political prowess and control in the state.
Governor Akeredolu also shone as the deputy chairman of the APC convention committee as he indeed, contributed to the success of the convention.
