Senate President Bukola Saraki has dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Saraki announced his defection in a tweet on his official handle @bukolasaraki.
“I wish to inform Nigerians that, after extensive consultations, I have decided to take my leave of the All Progressives Congress (APC),” his tweet read.
Saraki’s defection from the APC comes a week after 14 senators and 37 House of Representatives members dumped the ruling APC.
