The minister of women affairs, Hajia Aishah Alhassan has resigned from the cabinet of President Muhamadu Buhari.
But against all other speculations that she resigned to join the People’s Democratic Party, it showed that she resigned giving her desire to run for Taraba state governorship ticket under the All Progressives Congress as an excuse.
In a letter dated the 27th of July 2018, and signed by the president himself, president Buhari acknowledged the receipt of her resignation letter which she obviously wrote to officially disengage from the government.
However, Nigerians are of the opinion that her reason was only a smokescreen as she will be on her way to the PDP, apparently to join his godfather Atiku Abubakar, thereby tactically decamping also to the opposition party.
