As Nigeria celebrate 58th Independence, Nigerians have been enjoined to work for the development of the country while believing that better days are ahead.

The senator representing Ondo central senatorial district in the national assembly, Tayo Alasoadura stated this in a release by his media Aide, Dayo Joseph and made available to The Precision in Akure, Ondo state capital.
Senator Alasoadura who is seeking a return ticket to the 9th Senate under the All Progressives Congress (APC) urged Nigerians to be supportive of the APC led federal government in view of its determination to change Nigeria for the better.
The former finance commissioner in Ondo state identified the development and achievements in road construction, railway system, economy, and security as reasons to believe in the Nigeria Project.
He also said the 8th Senate has passed many bills in the last 3 years which were geared towards the development of the country.
Nigerians must believe in the country as there is no way to run to, he said.
He used the opportunity to appeal to those who are not comfortable with the present arrangement in the country to do so within the ambit of the law rather than resorting to violence which may hinder development.
On the Senate primary election to be conducted across the three senatorial district of the state on Tuesday, the lawmaker sued for peace, while urging aspirants and delegates to play the game by its rule.
Alasoadura will be contesting in the APC primary election to elect the party’s candidate for Ondo central senatorial district on Tuesday.
