By December, 2019 new executive officers to paddle the affairs of Oyemekun Grammar School Old Students’ Association, Ondo State branch will assume office.

This follows the election of new executive officers by members of the association at the last meeting in October held at the school’s hall. The meeting holds every last Thursday of the month by 4pm.

The elected Chairman, Mr Olusegun Stephen Olumilola formerly known as Olusegun Familola is a Civil Engineer and Director in the state’s ministry of works.

He is of the 1985 set.

Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Mr Olumilola told The Precision NG that he will paddle the affairs of the association by working with the various sets.

“I want to thank God for the mandate given to me by the entire old boys.

“I will want to begin with what the last executive members led by Revd Ayo Ikulamberu and the outgoing principal, Chief Stephen Ojo have done by using sets, I mean engaging the various sets to be committed to project execution,” he said.

Earlier, the outgoing Chairman, Ayo Ikulamberu thanked the members for the confidence reposed on him having served for a long period of five years, even when he said he was tired, they still encouraged him to do more.

He said he need to focus more on his role as OGSA national public relations officer, hence the need to step down for another old boy to be tested.

He promised to always keep in touch as he is part of the big family.

Also speaking, the outgoing principal, Chief Stephen Ojo who will be performing his pen down on 5th December, 2019 which also coincide with his 60th birthday, thanked the outgoing executive members and the entire old boys for their cooperation.

He said he has been able to bring a lot of development to the school because of the support he enjoyed from the old boys.

The inauguration of the new executive members will take place on the last Thursday of November at the school’s hall by 4pm.
