The Pro-chancellor and founder of Achievers University Owo, (AUO), Hon. Dr. Bode Ayorinde says the certificate of the University is not for sale.

Dr Ayorinde reiterated this at the 13th matriculation ceremony of Achievers University held on Friday at the institution’s Trinity hall, while speaking on the expulsion of six students expelled for cultism activities on Thursday.

He said the development is an indication that the University has zero tolerance for indiscipline.

The founder enjoined the matriculating students to be disciplined and to face their books squarely as the University won’t tolerate any behavior that would put the institution’s name into disrepute.

He said the institution is ready to dismiss and rusticate students that do not comply with the school’s rules and regulations.

Dr Ayorinde also used the opportunity of the event to disclose that the University will soon commence the asphalt overlay of internal roads in the campus, construction of staff quarters as well as introduction of new undergraduate programmes.

384 students matriculated at the event yesterday while 57 students were inducted into the Achievers Scholars hall of fame having reached the first class cadre after the 2018/2019 academic session.
