Chief Oke, in a statement personally signed and made available to The Precision NG noted the need to defend the collective struggles and sacrifices of Nigerians which birthed the current political and democratic order by holding accountable persons who hold public offices in trust.

The Unity Forum consensus candidate in the July APC primaries also lamented that the country is yet to deliver on the hope of Nigerians. He however encouraged citizens to keep hope alive.

In his words, “Today, we are yet to deliver on our collective hope. As it was in the past, so it is in our today’s political landscape. But we despair not. I congratulate Nigerians on yet another great moment in our collective history. We shall together birth a new order in our state, where the people will own their government again.”
