Jegede Finally Settles For Gboluga As Deputy Ahead August 18 INEC Deadline

Ahead of Tuesday August 18 submission deadline for the substitution of names of candidates and deputies that will represent political parties at the October guber poll in Ondo state, Eyitayo Jegede, the candidate of the PDP has settled for Hon. Ikengboju Dele Gboluga.

The Precision NG reports that Gboluga, a House of Reps member representing Okitipupa/Irele federal constituency will now replace Olumide Ogunje earlier submitted by Jegede.

Announcing his new choice on Twitter, Jegede wrote:

“In the task of rebuilding the confidence of our people in their government and in restoring hope for a better life under a @OfficialPDPNig administration in Ondo State, and following extensive consultations with leaders of our party, I am pleased, to announce that Hon. Gboluga Ikengboju will be working with me in seeking your mandate in the October 10, 2020 governorship election.

“We will also work with other notable leaders of our great party in different capacities. In this regard, we salute the commitment, conviction, support and understanding of all the aspirants and other leaders of our party. God our help!”, he said.
