Charity, they say, begins at home. This informed the Ondo State PDP Chairman, Hon. Fatai Adekanye Adams’ decision to hold stakeholders’ meeting in his home Local Government, Akoko North West Local Govt Area of Ondo State.

Addressing the stakeholders on Wednesday at his residence in Oke Irun, Surulere Ward 7, Hon Fatai Adams appreciated God for making his election possible and the people for giving him the opportunity to serve at this material time.

“I want to return all the glory to the Almighty Allah for making it possible for me to be elected as the State Chairman of our great party, PDP. I thank you for your absolute support and the opportunity given me to serve at this material time. And I promise you that I will not let you down” The chairman submitted.

“In the time of contest, interest may differ, but after election and a particular person emerges, it is expected that all groups close ranks and work together in the best interest of the party. Let me state categorically here that I have no grudge against anyone and I humbly ask for your unwavering support so that I can make a huge success of the opportunity you have given me. The only person I can begrudge is the one who intends to stay in the party and wreck havoc from within, such person can never enjoy my support and prayers” the chairman declared.

Chronicling the failure of the present APC-led administration in Ondo State, Fatai Adams said the coast is clear for PDP to coast home to victory in the forthcoming October 10, 2020 gubernatorial election.

“This government of APC in Ondo State has failed to cater for the people. It has refused to provide compulsory education for the children who may turn out to be problems in the future. These children cannot afford the ridiculously high school fees now and they are dropping out of schools in droves. We must not sit on a keg of gunpowder” the chairman warned.

Hinting on the agenda of the PDP government from February 24, 2021, the State Chairman had this to say, “The incoming government of PDP under Mr. Eyitayo Jegede SAN come February 2021, will surely crash the high school fees and education will become affordable”.

“The Mother and Child Hospital will be resuscitated and also replicated in the South and the North Senatorial districts, while healthcare services will become free for all children below the age of five. Micro Credit facilities will be strengthened and truly made available to our market women once again. Government will buy agricultural products from the farmers to avoid wastages; council funds will go directly to the councils so that the councils can properly be held accountable for the judicious use of such funds. Indigenous contractors will be patronized. Immediately the PDP government is inaugurated in February 2021, please expect the real dividends of democracy again” the State Chairman concluded.

Hon. Fatai Adams had a word for those planning to rig the forthcoming gubernatorial election to have a rethink insisting that it will be easier for the camel to enter the eye of a needle than for election riggers to succeed in their evil enterprise saying that Ondo State people are not prepared to miss this once-in-four-year opportunity of righting the wrongs and removing the poverty deliberately inflicted on the hardworking people of Ondo State.
