Governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has recovered and tested negative for COVID-19.
He announced this on his official twitter handle a moment ago.
According to him: “I am delighted to report today that after nearly four weeks of observing a strict medical regime, I have now received the all-clear after two consecutive test results.”
El-Rufai was the index case in Kaduna, having been declared positive on March 28.
Similarly, Lagos state has transferred five of the 59 reported COVID-19 cases to Ogun state.
Lagos Commissioner for Health Professor Akin Abayomi made the announcement via Twitter on Wednesday.
According to him, the total number of transferred cases to the state are eight.

The commissioner also announced the recovery of nine more coronavirus patients.
Five of the recovered patients are females while four are males.
The total number of confirmed #COVID19 cases in Lagos now stands at 438.
