…ASADE DONATES FOOD ITEMS, WASHING HAND BUCKETS AND NOSE MASKS TO RESIDENTS IN AKURE

An aide of the Governor of Ondo state, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, at the weekend donated food items, washing hand buckets and nose masks to residents of Lafe community in Akure South Local Government Area of the State as palliative to cushion the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Presenting the items, Mr Olugbenga Asade, Special Assistant to the Governor on Multimedia, who was in company with some of his staffs said the donation was to ameliorate the suffering of the vulnerable ones in the community.

He urged the people to remain law-abiding, use their nose mask and adhere strictly to the stay-at-home directive of the government as the world battled the Coronavirus pandemic.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed pleasure with the gesture of the governor’s aide and thanked him for remembering them.
