Ahead of his second term inauguration next week Wednesday and his deputy elect, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state has dissolved the state executive members.
At the last exco meeting in Akure on Thursday, the Governor thanked them for their support in the last four years.
He also appreciated them for their dedication to duty.
He pointed out that the former cabinet members had been very supportive for almost four years.
Governor Akeredolu said they had worked together as one and the interest of the state had remained paramount throughout their services to the state government.
In their valedictory statements, the special Adviser to the governor on Rural and Community Development and former member representing, Akoko Southeast/Southwest federal constituency, Mr Kolawole Babatunde and the commissioner for Women Affairs and social development, Mrs Titi Adeyemi described governor Akeredolu as a rare leader who strongly believed in people’s oriented projects.
Also at the ongoing event, the permanent secretary for cabinet and service matter, Mr Gbenga Elewuju who will be retiring from civil service by the fifth of next month was also recognized for his dedication and accessible lifestyle. (SunshineTruth)
