The Ilesha-Akure highway has been blocked, The Precision NG understands.
The blockage is due to the on going protest by Students of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) over the death of their colleague on Monday night.
The Precision NG gathered that 5 Students were involved in a crash at the Cathedral axis of Akure, the Ondo State Capital, and one of them died from injuries sustained in the accident.
The 200 level student known as Daniel Akinyele (9jaBazz) was confirmed dead at a health facility, while 4 others sustained varying degrees of injuries.
They are currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
Meanwhile, the FUTA Students Union Government (SUG) has declared today (Tuesday) lecture free day to mourn the soul of their departed colleague.
