Vladimir Putin, Russia’s President has ordered the invasion of Eastern Ukraine.
Putin’s order came few hours after the UN Security’s Council (UNSC) converged a meeting to discuss the ongoing tension between the two European countries.
The Russian leader however said his country doesn’t intend to occupy Ukraine but to demilitarize it.
Earlier in his opening remarks, the UN Secretary-General, Anthonio Guterres, called on Putin to allow peace to reign.
