Ondo: Mummy’s Place Celebrates Award As Best School In Nigeria

It was a carnival like event as parents, teachers and pupils of Mummy’s Place International School welcomed the proprietress, Dr. (Mrs) Damilola Oshin back to the School on Tuesday.

Dr. Oshin Oshin had gone to Abuja to receive an award given to the school, as the overall best private school at the President’s Teacher and School Excellence Award to mark this year World Teachers day celebration.

Dr. Damilola Oshin said the award is dedicated to God, the teachers, pupils as well as the parents.

She noted that her school was chosen for the award due to the educational facilities, well tutored and cultured pupils, qualified teachers as well as the schools meagre fees compare with the quality of education dishing out to the pupils.

Dr. Mrs. Oshin restated that the school remains committed to provision of world class educational service noted that her venture into the field was in response to a call by God.

Reacting to the dwindling educational system in the country, the Proprietress said that everyone has its own role to play in bringing back the lost values in our educational system adding that Mummy’s Place International School is an institution for all strata of human endeavors irrespective of their financial capabilities.

Representative of Ministry of Education, Mrs Dunni Famewo, in her remarks congratulated the school management for well deserved award adding that the school scored high during the Ministry’s evaluation last year.

Some of the parents and teachers in an interview applauded the school management for providing enabling environment for quality education, noting that the award is well deserved.
