As the Local government elections in Ondo State draws near, the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo State has expressed its readiness for the elections.
The State publicity Secretary of the party, Mr Alex Kalejaiye while addressing newsmen at the party’s Secretariat said the party is fully ready and committed to win all the 18 Local governments in Ondo State.
In his words, “we are fully prepared. We have started the campaign by meeting with all stakeholders across all the 18 local government areas of the state.
“We have constituted campaign committees at local government, Ward and unit levels to begin to sensitize and mobilize the people ahead of the Saturday poll.
“We have also constituted another committee led by the state Organizing Secretary of our party, Hon. Charles Fagbohunka to coordinate all the campaign committees across the 18 local government areas.
“The state Vice Chairman of our party, Hon. Atili Agabra is heading a Reconciliation Committee constituted to reconcile all members of our party who have one disagreement or another to settle.
“The committee is expected to reconcile all members ahead of the Saturday’s election for us to have landslide victory.
He however added that the performance of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa will propell the people of Ondo State to vote for the candidates of APC in the local government election on Saturday 18th January 2025.
13 Political parties are expected to participate in the elections on Saturday.
