Ondo NOA Sensitises Public On Patronage Of Made In Nigeria Products, Services

As part of the efforts of National Orientation Agency towards positive attitudinal change of Nigerians to enhance sustainable development, the Ondo state directorate of the agency has organized a sensitization campaign in akure, calling on all Nigerians to patronize made in Nigeria goods.

The Ondo state NOA Director Mr Bode Famose on Tuesday during sensitization programme at NURTW hall in Akure described the low patronage of Nigerian made products as worrisome and of grave concern to every patriotic Nigerians.

In a press release signed by the agency’s spokesperson in the state, Ralph Oguntibeju, Mr Famose said,

“the problem of low patronage is further compounded by deceptive branding of products by domestic manufacturers by packaging their product with foreign labels and tags.”

The NOA director urged members of public to cultivate the habit of patronizing made in Nigeria products to enhance restoration of national pride,there by reviving our local industries, creating employment and enhancing sustainable economic growth through patronage of locally produced goods and services.

Low patronage of Nigerian made products has led to closure of many of the nations industries, high rate of unemployment and dwindling Gross Domestic Product of our country.
