The Ondo State Police Command says it is yet to establish the relationship between a woman named Olufunke Olakunrin a supposed daughter of the leader of Pan Yoruba group, Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti who was reportedly murdered on Friday along Kajola-Ore road by suspected Herdsmen.
Police Public Relations Officer, Femi Joseph who spoke on phone with The Precision NG revealed that the police are already trailing the hoodlums but could not ascertain their ethnic identity.
“We got information about the incidence but we don’t know the identity of the hoodlums as we are yet to make any arrest.
“We are also yet to establish the relationship of the deceased woman with the Afenifere Leader. I am not denying it and not confirming it.

“What is uppermost now to us is to arrest the perpetrators and ensure justice is done.
“we are currently after them and we have rescued seven people. One is still with the hoodlums. It was during the process of rescuing the people held hostage by the hoodlums that we lost the woman.
The PPRO confirmed the incident happened on Friday at 2pm along Kajola-Ore road not far away from NIROWI.
“Our concern is to get the hoodlums arrested and rescue the remaining hostages,” Joseph said.
