Governor of Ondo state, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu says the military officer who is the index coronavirus case of the state has tested negative.
Akeredolu, who announced this on Monday while addressing newsmen at government house ground, Alagbaka, Akure, said the index case was confirmed negative after serious medical attention from the state government.
According to Akeredolu, the index case tested negative after two successful test and is now free to be discharged.
Meanwhile, the governor said the state government had ordered massive production of face mask for people free of charge to prevent COVID-19.
