The Chairman, Hon Oladimeji on the sidelines of the event said the idea was to honour the leaders of the party in Ifedore since he couldn’t do that when he assumed office in December, 2018.
“You will recall that immediately I was appointed, campaign for the re-election of President Buhari started and we moved into action.
“We thank God that we won, and this is the best time I think I should celebrate our leaders for their efforts during the electioneering process.
“This is also to ensure that all the grievances are brought forward and addressed appropriately and that’s what we have been able to achieve with this get-together,” Oladimeji said.
Hon Oladimeji also said the re-election bid of Governor Akeredolu is now the next line of action for leaders of the party in the council.
The speaker, Rt. Hon. Oleyelogun and other stakeholders that spoke eulogised the novel idea of the chairman and urged him to carry along other members of the party in the scheme of things.
“The meeting today is to further tell you that APC is on ground in Ifedore. If an election is held today, we will surely be victorious.
“The caliber of people present here at this meeting has further shown that we are one in Ifedore,”
Oleyelogun said.
