Ondo State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr. Donald Ojogo has described the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), as a formidable media platform which has conformed with the generation reforms that is taking place in the media world.
The Information commissioner stated this while playing host to the General Manager and Management staff of NTA, in his office in Akure, the Ondo state capital,said the various channels available in NTA made it to be accessible to numerous viewers across the globe.
Mr. Ojogo harped on the need to partner the first Television station in Africa,on strategic management of information, particularly the government level, stressing that the ministry will work with the television station to show case the laudable achievements of Governor Akeredolu’s administration in the state.

The Information and Orientation Commissioner added that the infrastructural development that dots the landscape of Ondo state must be made known to outside world through robust publicity.
The Commissioner commended the management of NTA for at ensuring that people of Ondo state enjoy their programmes, describing it as a huge sacrifice
Mr Ojogo ,promised that the state government through the ministry of Information and Orientation ,will support the Television with the aim of tackling some of the challenges faced by the media house.
Earlier, the General Manager NTA, Akure, Mr. Segun Ojelade congratulated the Commissioner on his appointment as the image maker of the government, saying his appointment was right step in right direction given that the commissioner is a seasoned and pragmatic journalist .
He added that the management of NTA, as a bridge builder, came to the ministry for improved relationship among the state government, NTA and the public, which he said are the bridge between government and the people.
The General Manager commended the governor for his giant strides at developing Ondo state since assumption of office,stressing that NTA has been giving adequate coverage to the activities of the governor and the first lady.
He called for assistance in overcoming some of the challenges confronting the television station to enable it perform optimally.
Ojelade assured that,the station will continue to collaborate with the state government through the ministry of Information and Orientation to ensure that people are well informed about government programmes and policies.
