The Governing Council of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko, (AAUA) Ondo State, is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position its Vice Chancellor, The Precision NG can understand.
This is coming exactly six months to the end of tenure of the current vice chancellor, Prof. Igbekele Ajibefun.

Ajibefun who assumed the position of the Ondo State-owned University in 2015, will end his five-year tenure on January 5, 2020.
The Secretary to council and acting Registrar of the institution, Opeoluwa Akinfemiwa said in a statement that candidates with highly motivated, sufficient academic and administrative experiences are encouraged to apply.
“The mandate of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko is the advancement of knowledge through teaching,research,innovation and community engagement.

“In pursuit of the mission and strategic goals of the university, the Governing Council of the university is inviting suitably qualified and highly motivated candidates with sufficient academic and administrative experiences to apply for the position of Vice Chancellor, which will soon be vacant,” the statement said.
He advised interested candidates to submit their applications and addressed to the Chairman of Council on or before August 9th,2019.
