To ensure quality service delivery in hospitals, Governor Babagana Umara Zulum has a paid follow-up visit to Mohammed Shuwa Ultra Modern hospital (Nursing Home) and a ministry of health zonal office along Monday market where skin-related diseases are treated.
Gov. Zulum who arrived at Mohammed Shuwa around 5:40am in the morning went straight to the accident and emergency unit of the hospital, where he couldn’t find a single doctor.
However, when the Governor enquired of the doctors on call he was informed that they are residing at a chalet around the hospital. He then went around all the wards in the hospital.
He warned strongly that henceforth doctors on first call should be at their various wards.
Besides, Governor Zulum also suspended the chief nursing officer; accident and emergency unit, Musa Ngulde for his inability to provide duty roster of the unit.
At Monday market skin related disease center, Gov. Zulum, who was shocked by the dilapidated condition of the center ordered for its immediate rehabilitation.
