Wolverhampton held Manchester United to a 1-1 draw at home last night as midfielder Paul Pogba lost the supposed winning goal from penalty.

United took the first half lead through a beautiful finish by Anthony Martial and they were 1-0 up until the break. Wolves however came to life thereafter as Ruben Neves scored a sublime goal from outside the box very early in the second half which took the game to 1-1.

United later had a penalty call after Paul Pogba was tripped in the box but the Frenchman saw his penalty well saved by goalkeeper Rui Patricio.

In their last three visits to Wolves, United have failed to win any of those matches.

The Molineux side are the first side to come from a goal down to avoid being beaten in three consecutive Premier League matches against United.
