The Bauchi State Government has ordered all students of the
state in boarding house to resume to school before Friday October 4.
In a statement signed by the Commissioner for Education, Dr Aliyu Usman Tilde and made available to The Precision NG on Tuesday, the government urged “all students of Bauchi State boarding schools who are yet to resume for the term to do so immediately between now and Thursday evening, 3 October 2019, to enable the Ministry count them as boarding students.”

According to the statement, any student who has not resumed by Thursday evening will be deboarded and transferred to a day school immediately.
“Principals of such schools in the state must prevent students from leaving the school premises. Failure to do so will affect their total student count and attract prompt sanction from the Ministry,” the statement read.
