Amotekun: Ondo Assembly Invites The Public For Contribution

The Ondo State House of Assembly on Tuesday commenced work on the proposed legal framework for the establishment of the SouthWest regional Security outfit codenamed operation Amotekun in the state.

It subsequently stated that the public hearing on the bill will be held on Monday 24th February.

A statement from the Assembly also noted that the bill which is to establish the Ondo State Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps to assist in maintaining law and order in the state and for connected purposes, passed through first reading and second reading today (Tuesday).

“The bill has been committed to House Committee on Security, to be joined by the Principal Officers of the House, to organise public hearing on the bill on Monday 24th February, 2020,” the statement said.
