In its bid towards ensuring the re-election of Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, the foremost political platform in Ondo State “IBI GIGA Ambassadors” has approved the appointment of Coordinators and Admin Secretaries for all the 203 Wards in the state.
In a Press Statement, the Convener, Chief Alex Ajipe, through the office of the Director General, Prof. Lanre Olu Adeyemi charged the Coordinators to engage in aggressive mobilization of people in their domains towards the re-election of Mr Governor.
“Their responsibility among others is to liaise with and report the day to day activities of the group’s Ambassadors at various wards to the Directorate through the office of the Deputy Director General (DDG) of the Directorate,” the statement noted.

He enjoined them to publicise the
achievements of Mr. Governor in the areas of industrialization, infrastructure, Health,
Education and Agriculture.
Ajipe also enjoined them to dedicate their energy and expertise
towards the success of the project.
“The Directorate hereby congratulates them and wishes them a productive duration of service. The names of the Ward Coordinators and the Adm. Secretary for the ward ambassadors are as contained herein.
“Note: all concerned should send their WhatsApp numbers and Account Numbers to the Secretary with GSM No. 08064464675 as the Directorate has made necessary arrangement for
palliative to cushion the effects of the lockdown in the state aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19 in the state.”
Meanwhile, the Political Platform is set to start distributing palliative items to vulnerable people in the state.
According to Chief Ajipe, the palliative will be in form of cash.
