Covid-19: OSDF To Constitute Committee On Palliative Measure In Mandate Areas

The President and convener of Ondo South Development Forum (OSDF), Mr Anthony Olasele had said that the organization will embark on setting up a committee to outline palliative measure for the people of the mandate areas arising from effects of lock down against the spread of COVID-19 in the state.

Mr Anthony in a press release made available to newsmen through the Organization Public and Media Relations manager, Lolu Oguntibeju described the pandemic as a global threat to lives and the economy of the people causing fear and anxiety but cautioned the people not to panic as govt is taking right steps in curtailing the spread of the virus.

He assured the people of the southern part of the state that the Organization as part of it’s CSR role will consult with well meaning sons and daughters of the mandate areas to rise up to the untold hardship effects of lockdown on the economy of the area by ensuring that palliative measure are put in place.

The convener also warned the people to stay at home as directed by the government and urge them to comply with all the precautionary measures already outlined to check the spread of the deadly COVID-19.
