…ONDO GETS 2ND POSITIVE CASE
The identity of the second positive case of Coronavirus in ondo state has been revealed for the public in order to continuously take precautionary measures.
On Friday, the state government announced the second case through the commissioner for health, Dr Wahab Adegbenro.
The patient who is a staff of the Muritala Muhammed Airport, Lagos has been taken to the Infectious Disease Hospital (IdH) beside the Akure school of Nursing.
Members of his family have also been isolated according to report available to The Precision NG.
The government in a statement had said the patient is a middle aged man who was shuttling between Akure and Lagos before the partial lockdown in Ondo state.

RESIDENCE : Ijoka, Akure (after arrival from Lagos).
DATE OF DISCOVERY : Wed.8/4/20
ACTION TAKEN : Immediate Quarantine, sample taken, sample received.
DATE OF SAMPLE REVIEW : Wed.8/4/20
DATE RESULT RECEIVED : Yesternight (9/4/20).
RESULT STATUS : Positive
FURTHER ACTION : Family quarantined ( Mother and three siblings), wider net cast in the environment. Contacts still being traced.
MESSAGE : Public to adhere more to the precautionary measures / response protocol.
