“Yet, we must thank Almighty Allah for keeping us alive and for making us to witness another month of Ramadan. I want to plead with our Muslim brothers and sisters to make stronger supplications to God to heal our land and make the world to triumph over the deadly disease.

“More than ever before, this is the time we need one another. As we pray for our country, don’t let us forget the weak and the less-privileged among us by sharing foods and substances with them. While we are doing this, we should observe all the preventive measures against the spread of the Covid-19, including social distancing, regular hand washing with clean water and soap and general practice of hygiene.”

Hon. Fasua congratulated the Muslim faithful on witnessing another Ramadan, and prayed the Almighty Allah to see them through the fasting period.
