17 out of the 27 members of the executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 10, Etsako West local government of Edo state have lifted the suspension imposed on Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.

He said the party’s National Secretariat had received notification of the resolution by members and officials of the party from Oshiomhole’s Ward.

Recall that the suspension at the ward level in November 2019 led to his suspension as National Chairman of the party in March 2020. The Court of Appeal in Abuja reaffirmed his suspension during the week.
His suspension had plunged the party into a leadership crisis with the National Working Committee (NWC) naming Abiola Ajimobi as acting National Chairman and Victor Giadom relying on an ex parte order to declare himself as acting National Chairman.
Giadom wrote the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mahmood Yakubu, on Thursday, asking that he be recognised as the party’s chairman.
