An Akure Socialite and Businesswoman, Mrs Ruth Olowookere popularly called “Madam do Good” is dead.
She died on Sunday at age 70.
A statement by Kunle Ajibogun on behalf of the family stated:

“This is to inform the good people of Ondo State and Nigerian in general that we have lost a rare gem, the Iyaloja-General of Ondo state, Chief Mrs Ruth Olowookere aka (Madam Do Good).
“Madam Do Good, died today 26th July, 2020 (Sunday) at the aged of 70yrs old after a brief illness.
“However, her death is not in anyway connected with the COVID-19 pandemic”, the statement said.
