The speaker of the Ondo state House of Assembly says any further insult on the Assembly or any of its member by the deputy governor of the state, Agboola Ajayi would attract a legal action.

Oleyelogun said this through his media aide, Abidemi Ojoawo while reacting to a statement credited to Mr Agboola that the speaker should resign his position.

The Precision NG recalled that the Oleyelogun-led Assembly had been at loggerheads with Agboola following the move by the House to impeach him after he defected to the opposition PDP.

Agboola was elected in 2016 under the APC alongside his boss, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

14 lawmakers loyal to Akeredolu had instituted an impeachment process against Agboola who enjoyed support from Nine lawmakers.

The impeachment process however hit a Brick wall as the Chief Judge (CJ), Justice Oluwatoyin Akeredolu last week told the Oleyelogun-led House to follow due process.

Agboola in his reaction to the decision of the CJ advised Oleyelogun to step down his position as speaker.

This however did not go down well with the speaker who had now warned the deputy governor to desist from making unguided statements about the Assembly.

Oleyelogun reminded Agboola that his comments on the house is dehumanizing and irrational, adding that it is a constitutional offence that is punishable.

THE WOUNDED SPILLING BLOOD UNNECESSARILY – COWARDICE

“If a little wood would burn your little oven why then should you murmur if all the woods are not yours”.

“I wonder why a woman would divorce her said to be fruitless husband and still carry his rings about?”

What I noticed about the Deputy Governor, His Excellency Agboola Ajayi is Cowardice.

“Man gives every reason for his conduct save one, every excuse for his crimes save one, every plea for his safety save one and that one is his Cowardice”.

“In this world, there is always danger for those who are afraid of it”

Attacking the personality of the Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Oleyelogun Bamidele David and the House of Assembly with dehumanizing and irrational words is demonic and a constitutional offence that is punishable.

But it is very clear that the Deputy Governor in his naive construct has lost his sense of humour. Seeing himself depreciating in value, foster his intention of throwing stones to a glass house. “Only Cowards insult glorified and highly revered majesty”

I can’t imagine the credibility the party that absorb him presently sees in a man that has lost his balance like a tossing leave on the water of life. Any storm in that party would move him into another. That is the enterprise of a greedy and rebellion soul.

His desperation, greed and selfish interest has deprived him of his good self worth in recent time. If you are to maintain your self esteem, integrity and honour, it would have benefited you so much to resign humbly and keep a good legacy for your family and children. At least you claimed that the system had failed you grossly.

Nevertheless, Let me sound this warning here, any further insult on any member of the House of Assembly or any member would attract a legal nail on you. Be warned and tame your triggers.

No level of parrotism and ill-mannered propaganda can rewrite the constitution and stop legal actions on the allegations against you. We would not put sentiment nor step aside due process in our dealings with the other arms of governance that the constitution had bid us to operate together for interest and well being of the masses.
