The All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship nomination Screening Appeal Committee for Ondo Primary Election on Wednesday night revealed the names of all the twelve aspirants for the July 20 election.
This is coming barely four days to the party’s primaries which is to hold next week Monday.
The party’s Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabeba, in a statement in Abuja, said the appeal committee has submitted its report to the Governor Mai Mala Buni-led APC Caretaker/Extra-ordinary National Convention Planning Committee.
Nabena said the APC Committee cleared all the twelve aspirants to contest the party’s primary.
The aspirants cleared are Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu; Amb. Olusola Iji; Odimayo John; Olayide Adelami; Kekemeke Isaacs and Olusola Oke.
Others are Ifeoluwa Oyedele; Mrs. Olajumoke Anifowoshe; Awodeyi Akinola; Adetula Olarogba; Dr. Abraham Olusegun and Dr. Nathaniel O. Adojutelegan
The primary election is scheduled for Monday, July 20 while the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed October 10 for the governorship election.
